A mystery woman from Kent has become a millionaire after scooping the top prize of £1,000,000 on a National Lottery instant win game.

Known only as Miss M, the lucky lady plans to spend her winnings on a new home after playing the Cash Bolt Levels game via The National Lottery app.

She joins one of more than eight million players that win each week on a range of games.

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk and can also buy and check tickets in shops.

Playing online via the app or website means your ticket is checked and you get an email notification if you win a prize.

You can also scan tickets bought in shops on the National Lottery app to check if you are a winner.

The Cash Bolt Levels instant win game costs £5 to play and offers a one in 2.77 overall chance of winning a prize.
