A mystery woman has banked £1 million after becoming one of 100 new UK millionaires.

Known only as Mrs W from Kent, the woman scooped the prize without ever touching a ticket, by playing online.

She won the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on July 26, which created 100 UK millionaires.

And she could do worse than marking her win... with a nice cup of tea!

A survey of lottery winners, found that surprisingly many shun champagne and turn to tea to celebrate.

However, most soon adapt to their new-found wealth - with 82% of big winners splurging on a new home, many with luxurious features such as walk–in wardrobes, pool tables and hot tubs.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “Huge congratulations to Mrs W on winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket.

“The special EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on July 26 saw 100 £1million prizes won by players in the UK. It was millionaire-making on an epic scale.”
