It was said to be one of the worst storms in decades.
And for Kent that meant hundreds of trees felled, 70mph winds and vehicles crushed as emergency services were stretched to deal with a huge extra workload of callouts.
The damage stretched across the county, including roads and bridges shut.

From trampolines tossed into the road, to boats toppled over in the high winds, the hurricane conditions left a trail of destruction.
Fences became easy prey to nature's force, and even a shelter for trolleys was not a match for the lashing wind and rain.
