Kent's talent to be showcased at youth music extravaganza

Our county's young music maestros will be carving up the stage this summer at the world's largest youth music festival.

Two hundred and eighty young musicians from Kent will be performing along with 10,000 other musicians at the National Festival of Music for Youth in Birmingham, in July.

The Kent College Choristers and the Sevenoaks School Gamelan Group will be among the selected groups to take part in the six-day festival. The event aims to highlight the outstanding creative talent of the youth of today.
