KIA has produced a new Carens. It features exterior and interior changes incorporating customer feedback from European markets.
According to Kia, the new car offers enhanced practicality and style with spaciousness and value for money.
One change is the availability of a diesel engine for the first time. The 2.0-litre common rail diesel engine produces 112bhp and 245Nm of torque.
The exterior of the Carens has been completely restyled, from the grille, past the new bonnet line and restyled D-pillar, to the redesigned rear combination lamps, tailgate and rear window.
The interior boasts a new steering wheel design, revised central fascia with metal grain trim, improved instrument cluster layout and restyled door trim featuring side map/bottle holders. The second row seat has been redesigned to incorporate integrated three-point seatbelts and a central headrest. The 60-40 split rear seats now fold to reveal a practical flat floor.
The 2.0-litre common rail turbodiesel engine offers an ideal combination of pulling power with economy. The engine produces 112bhp @ 4000rpm and 245Nm of torque @ 2000rpm.
