Charity champs Johnny Lewis and Tracie Stevens are off on another summer adventure to raise funds for the Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The kmfm breakfast show presenter and the marketing manager for Westwood Cross retail park proved to be a dynamic duo last August when their transport challenge raised around £7,000 for the charity.
This Saturday (August 21) they are off again, supported by their partners Judy Moss and Harcus Copper in a bid to top up last year's impressive figure to a total of £10,000 (picture, right, shows Johnny and Harcus during last year's challenge).
This year Johnny will be inside a giant dog suit and he will be accompanied by a blindfolded Tracie to highlight awareness about their cause to help blind and partially sighted people.
He said: "We will be travelling around Thanet calling into businesses, shops, pubs and clubs that want to see us and collecting donations on the way. This year we can take any form of transport we want to get around, as long as it is not our own cars.
"You can rest assured that we will be trying to line up some weird and wonderful ways of getting around - so if you see a blindfolded lady being led around by a giant pooch, don't be surprised.
"The important thing for us is to raise awareness, raise money and raise a smile - it's that simple."
The pair will set off from Westwood Cross around 9.30am on Saturday and have been asked to call into nearby B & Q superstore to officially open the revamped kitchen department.
Johnny added: "That's a first - a large dog opening a shop department!"
