A Margate man is celebrating after winning kmfm's Best Year Ever competition this morning.
Charlie Bott won £5,000 with kmfm's #BESTYEAREVER! competition at 11am.
Mr Bott called in from Birchington with the correct answers after hundreds of attempts by listeners.
The game involved 50 numbered 'boxes' and listeners had to choose three of them which revealed the words, Best Year Ever in the correct order.
The cash jackpot could only be won by one listener in the county and Mr Bott said he had been listening every day trying to get through to kmfm to be in with the chance of starting this year better off.
Mr Bott chose the numbers, 39, eight and 12, and told presenter Andy Walker he would spend some of his jackpot on a holiday and had been listening for weeks trying to correctly guess the three box numbers.
After day two of game play across the county, listeners had manage to guess the boxes with Year and Ever hidden inside and it was just one word which stood in the way of someone scooping the jackpot.
The competition was won by Mr Bott prize is kmfm's biggest single cash jackpot win.
Mr Bott was listening in his van, on a break in Birchington and said after his win: "It is the best year now."
He celebrates his 30th birthday later this year and told presenter he has always wanted to visit San Francisco, but it was becoming too expensive.
He added he jokingly said to his wife, Nikki that if he won it he would go straight to the travel agent and book that holiday.
He is now going to do exactly that.
The winning continues on kmfm next week with tickets to the BRIT Awards 2019 with MasterCard.
