A kmfm listener has started their weekend by winning £1,000

The Kent Radio Station's monthly competition, 'Thousand Pound Friday' sees thousands of listeners enter via text or online to win the cash jackpot over 24 hours, from the Thursday at 6pm, through to 24 hours later.

There are no questions to answer to win, there is no roll over, but quite simply one person is chosen at random to win.

At 6pm tonight, kmfm Drivetime presenter, Rob Wills made a surprise call to September's winner, Jen Boyden from Sittingbourne who had finished work and was listening on her way home. She was sat on her sofa when she received the surprise call.
