.

kmfm is now more than half way through its Make Someone's Christmas campaign and tonight, it was 10-year-old Luca Blenko from Plaxtol who received the surprise call.

Luca has autism and a speech delay and has been bullied at two different schools - verbally and physically.

Tamara said: "Luca has overcome so much - he's really had it hard - being bullied by several different children and he was also in hospital last year. It is only this school year that he has found a small group of friends.

"He amazes us every day by how caring and determined he can be. He is such a brave little boy and just gets on with it.

"He is our hero and this would help him to know how special he is."

Drivetime presenter, Rob Wills made the special call at 6pm and spoke to Luca who revealed he is now enjoying school a bit more with his favourite school subject being history.

Luca then found out he will be going on a laser tag experience with his new friends followed by a trip to Nandos - all courtesy of kmfm and McArthurGlen, Ashford Designer Outlet.

In response, Luca said: "Thank you. Merry Christmas."

Tamara added: "He's got a big beaming smile."

Make Someone's Christmas is now in its fifth year and aims to surprise 10 people in Kent over two weeks in December.

kmfm has received hundreds of nominations about incredible people in the county, with surprise calls having already been made to a foster carer and a Special Olympics gold medalist this year, among others.
