KMTV has launched a new weekly music programme to showcase the county's freshest and funkiest music acts.

BASSed in Kent will give singers, songwriters and bands the chance to perform live from the channel's studios at the University of Kent in Medway.

Kicking off the new show in style was Matthew Falloon, a singer songwriter from Tunbridge Wells, who has already toured the UK, Europe and the Caribbean.

The programme is on Thursday and Friday nights at 8.45pm and available on Freeview channel 7, Virgin channel 159 and on kmtv.co.uk
