A korfball team might have earned themselves a place in the record books after playing the longest ever game.
A 300 strong-crowd crammed into Larkfield Leisure Centre at the weekend to watch the match, which stretched to 30 hours and two minutes.
It is hoped it will make the 24 players from the East Malling-based Kingfisher Korfball Club world record holders, beating the previous Dutch-held attempt by four hours.
Steve Kirby, the man behind the attempt, said: “It was no mean feat, the players were only allowed a five minute break per hour."
The players raised about £5,000 for Kent Air Ambulance.
