LADY KINGSDOWN: feeling lucky and much better

LADY Kingsdown is due back in hospital today for a check-up on a broken collarbone after she was involved in a road accident.

The former chairman of Kent Age Concern and wife of the ex-Lord Lieutenant of Kent broke the bone in a collision between the estate car she was driving and a four-wheel-drive vehicle in a lane close to her home near Sittingbourne.

Recovering at her home at Torry Hill, Lady Kingsdown said: "It is tiresome and quite painful but I am feeling much better. We were very lucky the occupants of the other car were not hurt. The lady was really kind and wonderful to me. I feel quite lucky."

Lady Kingsdown has her arm in a sling but is looking forward to being back to normal as soon as possible.
