One lane is closed and traffic is building on a busy A road after a vehicle hit the central reservation.

The accident has happened on the A21 southbound carriageway, just after junction five of the M25 for the M26 (Maidstone).

Police were called shortly before 1.30pm.

No injuries have been reported.

Officers remain at the scene and one lane of the A21 is closed whilst the vehicle is recovered.

Congestion is backing up onto the M25.
