Firefighters spent five hours tackling a fire which saw 600 tonnes of hay go up in flames.
It started near Gravesend last night
Crews were called to Hook Green Road, Southfleet, at 9.30pm after 600 tonnes of hay in a field caught fire.
Four fire engines tackled the blaze, with crews leaving at 2.30am the following morning.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the hay would continue to burn for a couple of days and said it was one of several hay fires that had happened across the county in recent weeks.
The incident is being treated as suspicious.
