Late drama but Addicks claim a point

Plymouth 2 Charlton 2

A crazy final five minutes saw Charlton come away from Plymouth with a point that could just as easily have been three - or none.

Mathias Doumbe's 38th-minute header looked to be sending the Addicks to another Championship defeat to pile more pressure on boss Alan Pardew.

But young defender Kelly Youga rose to head in Nicky Bailey's corner five minutes from time to make it 1-1 - then Andy Gray scored from the penalty spot at the start of stoppage time after a fould on Mark Hudson to put Charlton ahead.

However, the drama wasn't over and Emile Mpenza's unstoppable shot four minutes into added time completed the story.

Charlton: Weaver, Moutaouakil, Primus, Hudson, Youga, Bailey, Holland (Todorov 69), Semedo (Dickson 74), Bouazza, Varney (Sam 56), Gray. Subs not used: Elliot, Cranie.

Attendance: 10,716.
