NEW websites aimed at safeguarding and protecting children from abuse have been launched in Kent.

The websites, an initiative from Kent and Medway's child protection committees, are designed for both professionals and the public.

They give advice on what to do and where to go for further advice to anyone who may suspect that a child is being abused. Contact numbers of young people if they, or a friend, have suffered abuse are also included.
