A SURVEY by Fleet News covering the reliability of 620,000 vehicles run by leasing companies reveals that the Honda Accord is the most reliable company car on the road.

The survey listed vehicles according to the lowest number of breakdowns per 100 cars on their fleets. Only multi-marque leasing companies took part.

MG Owners' Club has awarded MG Rover Group with its annual MG Enthusiast award for their collective contribution to the marque.

The silver salver was collected on behalf of the 6,400 employees by Kevin Howe, MG Rover GroupÕs chief executive.

The award is made to individuals and groups in recognition of their outstanding achievement or involvement.

THE Renault Laguna has won the 2001 Autocar awards safety award. It is Renault's fourth award for its safety programme this year.

The new Laguna is the first and only car to have scored five stars in EuroNCAP's cresh test programme, while the Clio, Megane, Scenic and Espace have all scored four stars.
