A rural family attraction is set to undergo its annual transformation this weekend as the Paddock Wood Hop Farm plays host to some of the music world's biggest names.
Bob Dylan and Van Morrison top a star-packed bill likely to attract tens of thousands of festival goers to the Hop Farm Festival today and tomorrow.
Roads around the Hop Farm are likely to be affected by heavy traffic, especially between 9am and 1pm, with the busiest period expected when fans leave between 11pm and midnight on the Saturday night.
The festival organisers warn "there are always lengthy waits upon arrival and departure, so its important to time your journey accordingly" and advise drivers to leave plenty of time.
Drivers are also advised to use the signed drop off points instead of the road.
Advice on the festival website says: "While everything possible has been done to reduce queue times the local road network will
only allow a certain volume of traffic and when everyone leaves at the same time the network becomes blocked and it takes longer to get everyone off site."
A shuttle bus service runs from the festival to Paddock Wood station throughout the weekend.
Arena gates are open Friday 1.30pm to 2am on Saturday, and from 11am Saturday to 2am Sunday.
Music will stop at 11pm both nights.
