TWO teenage girls were confronted with the sight of a man commiting a lewd act as they walked through Margate.

The girls, both 17, had been approached by the man a few moments earlier when he had tried to get them into his car. He was standing next to the same car while committing the act.

The incident happened at about 2.20am on Saturday in Marine Drive. Anyone who saw the incident or who knows the man’s identity is asked to call the police on 01843 222033.
