Lewis Turner in court on serious assault charge

A Dartford man has appeared in court today following a serious assault earlier this month.

Lewis Turner, 19, of Kirby Road, is alleged to have attacked Robert Reed at an address in HillHouse Road, Stone, on May 9.

Turner, who appeared at Maidstone Crown Court for a brief preliminary hearing, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

No plea was indicated and Turner was remanded in custody until his next hearing on July 15.
