Bromley's FA Cup dream was ended by a ruthless Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the Lilywhites being roared on by more than 1,500 supporters their League 1 hosts took just seven minutes to open the scoring when Matthew Spring unleashed a superb 25-yard effort which gave on-loan Southampton keeper Tommy Forecast no chance.
At the other end Bromley rallied with Gareath Williams being denied by on-loan Tottenham keeper Ben Alnwick when clean through and midway through the half Hakeem Araba blasted a shot over the bar.
Rory Hill lashed another chance over after the Os failed to clear a corner just after the half-hour but the score remained 1-0 at the break.
George Porter doubled the advantage shortly before the hour mark to give Mark Goldberg's (pictured) men a mountain to climb. Porter is no stranger to Bromley having previously played for Cray Wanderers who groundshare at Hayes Lane and he outstripped Marlon Patterson for pace after a Bromley corner was hacked clear before beating Forecast to make it 2-0.
Bromley striker Aaron Rhule was red-carded after an off the ball incident involving Porter six minutes later and Jamie Cureton grazed the post with a low drive soon after.
Jimmy Smith wrapped up Orient's place in the hat for the second round draw with a third 11 minutes from time, following up after Moses Odubajo had fired against the post.
There was still time for a Cureton effort to be cleared off the line as the three-division gap showed by the end.
