Lifeboat's own cry for help

Whitstable lifeboat service is facing its own cry for help.

The crew that had 70 emergency callouts last year is in desperate need of more volunteers.

In former days those involved in the fishing industry provided the bulk of the manpower but with the decline in that industry they face a shortage of help for daytime call outs.
