A lucky kmfm listener has scooped a grand after entering the station's £1,000 Friday monthly competition.

Emma Evans from Chatham was surprised with a phone call by Drivetime presenter Rob Wills to tell her she was October's winner.

"It's my husband's 40th birthday next month," she said after receiving the call from Rob.

"We can all have a proper treat."

The competition invites listeners to enter via text or online to win the prize.
