MICKEY Mouse is going to be awfully disappointed - but Minnie has finally decided to wed someone else.

At the weekend she tied the knot with the Scarlet Pimpernel at a ceremony at The Bull public house at East Farleigh, near Maidstone.

Afterwards, the guests, who included Supergirl, Cruella De'Vil, a Mutant Ninja Turtle, ChewBacca, and countless cowboys, enjoyed a spit roast and music from a jazzband in the pub's grounds.

More than 200 guests attended the fancy dress wedding of Naomi Dobbs to Andrew Keeping. The couple, both aged 32 and from Rolvenden Layne, near Cranbrook, had been regulars of the Bull's new owners, Tim and Sarah Benger, when they ran their previous pub at Rolvenden Layne.

Mrs Benger said: "Naomi and Andrew are good friends of ours. When they heard that we had moved to a pub that had a licence to perform marriage ceremonies, they were determined to get wed here with us."
