One kmfm listener was screaming for joy this morning after winning a £2,500 family holiday on the station’s Summer Escape Sweepstake.
Mum-of-two Zuzi Lomas, from Hawkinge, in Folkestone was over the moon when she was called by Garry and Chelsea on their breakfast show this morning to be told the good news.
Zuzi will now see the money transferred straight to her bank account to spend on a summer holiday.
She told kmfm: “I have never won anything, money-wise. I love you.
“This is one of my best days ever.”
She said she will be taking her children, Christina and Dylan, and her husband Neil to Disneyland Paris with her new money.
The competition started two weeks ago and gave 10 listeners the chance to win their place on the sweepstake by correctly guessing where Garry and Chelsea were on their summer break.
Listeners winning £100 and a place in the final included Katie White from Herne Bay, Mark Bullen from Sittingbourne and Emma Gibson from Southborough in Tunbridge Wells won £100 and their place.
But it was this morning when Zuzi from Hawkinge, Folkestone received the call she wanted.
Presenters Garry and Chelsea said: “It’s been an exciting two weeks building up to today’s phone call and we are so happy for Zuzi.
“We know that money is tight and everyone is feeling it. So being able to give this prize away hopefully makes her and her family's year.”
