AN ARRAY of animals from chinchillas to chickens and alpacas to owls went on show at a Kent village hall.
The Fur, Feather and Exotics exhibition in Boughton, near Canterbury, was put on by the Lord Whisky Animal Sanctuary and raised about £1,000 for the charity.
Experts were on hand to give advice to pet owners on how best to care for their animals and there were also craft, bric-a-brac and produce stalls.
Margaret Todd, who runs the sanctuary at Stelling Minnis, also near Canterbury, said: “We had a steady stream of people all day and raised a little more than last year, which was good.
“It is a great event for children because they get to see and learn about such a wide range of animals.”
