A 19-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences following a disturbance in the early hours of New Year’s Day at New Ash Green, near Dartford.

Lee Thomas Prescott, of Farm Holt, New Ash Green, is accused of affray, possession of cannabis, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and wounding with intent.

He is due to appear before magistrates at Sevenoaks today.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after three men were taken to hospital with knife injuries during the disturbance.

Police say it appeared to start near The Badger public house between 1.30am and 2am.
