A 70-year-old man is to appear in court accused of a number of sex offences.

Charles Clapham, of Eaton Road, Margate, has been charged by police with two counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14, one count of attempted rape, and another of sexual activity with a girl under 13.

He has been bailed to appear in court on Tuesday, July 19.
