CONCERN is growing for the welfare of a 87-year-old man who has been missing from his home since Monday.

Charles Bott, of Sackville Close. Hothfield, near Ashford, suffers from a condition that requires regular medication.

Police say he may be driving a silver Skoda favourite, registration number M154 RKL.

Mr Bott is described as 5ft 9in tall. When he vanished he is thought to have been wearing fawn coloured corduroy trousers, a black tweed overcoat and a black baseball cap. He wears two gold bands on his right hand.

It is understood that he may have been visiting the Maidstone area, and that he had intended to leave his car in one of the town’s Park and Ride car parks.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ashford Police Station on 01233 611055.
