Man accused of charity football match attack

A 25-year-old man will appear in court later this month after a teenager was allegedly assaulted at a charity football match in Kent.

Patrick Dyett is charged with the common assault of a 16-year-old boy at St Lukes football ground in Hereson Road, Ramsgate.

The youngster was a fourth official on the touchline at a Sunday league season curtain-raiser at the weekend.

Dyett, 25, of Oaklands Avenue, Broadstairs, will appear before Thanet magistrates on Monday, September 22.
