A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing the death of a young Thanet woman by dangerous driving.

The man was arrested in Hendon in London on Tuesday evening and taken to Margate Police Station.

The arrest follows a road accident involving two cars on the A28 at Birchington between the St Nicholas roundabout and Brooksend on Monday, July 19.

The collision resulted in the death of a 20-year-old woman from Ramsgate.
