A 37-year man was arrested after a road accident earlier today.

It followed a crash between two cars in City Way, Rochester at 7.45am.

Police closed the Maidstone bound carriageway for nearly two hours.

One driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Kent Police have refused to comment further on the incident.

Emergency crews also dealt with a two car collision in Allington Drive, Strood at 6.40pm on Monday. The road remained closed until 9.15pm.
