A 47-year-old man has been charged following a bomb hoax at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.

Jobless Paul Starbuck, of no fixed address, was charged with the offence of communicating false information following the hoax on Wednesday at 8.30pm.

He is due before Sevenoaks magistrates later today for a remand hearing.
