Man charged with robbery at boatyard

The suspect is to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court

A 21-year-old has been charged with robbery and attempted theft following an incident at Allington boatyard, near Maidstone, on Saturday.

The man, Brian Cunningham, of Gravel Walk, Rochester, is due to appear before Maidstone magistrates this Friday.

Police have been granted more time by the a court to question two other men in custody in connection with the incident.
