A man's died at the scene of a two-car crash in Sevenoaks.

Paramedics from the air ambulance battled in vain to save the life of
the Mazda driver, after the crash at Oftord Road at 12.50pm today.

The collision outside Sainsbury's supermarket involved a red Mazda MX5
and a grey Vauxhall Vectra.

The driver and passenger of the Vectra were injured, but their
injuries are not described as serious.

The road was closed to allow the air ambulance to land, and officers
from the Serious Collison Investigation Unit were also on the scene.

They are appealing for information. Witnesses are asked to contact 01622 798538.
