A 28-year-old man has died after his motorcycle and a car crashed near Hamstreet.

The incident happened at about 5.40pm last night on the Badmunstereifel Road at the slip road for Hamstreet.

The motocyclist, who's from the local area, was taken to the William Harvey hospital where he died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The driver of the Peugeot 106 wasn't injured.
