TAKING a taxi took on a new meaning in Broadstairs over the weekend.

At about 1.30am on Sunday a man got into an unmanned cab outside a taxi office in the High Street and drove off.

The car was later found, slightly damaged, in Rosemary Avenue, Broadstairs.

A 21-year-old man from Ramsgate was arrested on suspicion of theft.
