A MAN is to stand trial at Crown Court accused of sexually assaulting a girl of 12.

William Francis Woodall, of Manor Way, Leysdown, Sheppey, is charged with committing the alleged offence between July 9 and July 10 in Sheerness.

He was granted conditional bail by magistrates. A date has not yet been set for the trial at Maidstone Crown Court.
