Train services were severely disrupted when a man fell under a train at Barming Station near Maidstone yesterday

A spokeswoman for British Transport Police confirmed they had been alerted at 12.41pm. The man had been standing on the London-bound platform when the incident occurred.

They were not treating his death as suspicous and no further details would be issued until the man's next of kin had been informed.
