Man fights for life after attack at Ramsgate harbour

Two teenagers have been arrested over a Ramsgate seafront attack that has left a man fighting for his life.

The 27-year-old is believed to have been assaulted in Harbour Parade in the early hours of yesterday.

Two 18-year-old men - one from Margate and the other from Ramsgate - are now being held in connection with the attack.

Police were called to the scene at just after 2.15am, when the man was found with serious injuries.

The Londoner was taken to a local hospital. However, his condition deteriorated and he was taken to a London hospital - where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Police cordoned off the area while forensic officers were at the scene yesterday.

No weapon is believed to have been used in the assault.
