POLICE were called to a home in The Street, Borden, early on Saturday morning after reports that a 44-year-old man had been found dead there.

The man pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene and police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.

The coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out. An inquest may be opened and adjourned later this week, depending on the post mortem findings.
