A MIDDLED-AGED man found unconscious and naked in the street at Broadstairs shortly after 1am on Monday has died at the Queen Mother Hospital at Margate.

Police say he was thought to be in his 50s and had suspected head injuries.

He was found wearing only his socks at the junction of Rectory Road and Shutler Road.

A police spokeswoman said: “The death is not regarded as suspicious and no-one else was involved. An inquest will be held.”
