A man faces trial accused of killing a four-month-old baby.

Wayne Acott, 22, of Square Hill Road, Maidstone, will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday charged with the manslaughter of a four-month-old boy.

The offence is alleged to have happened on January 21 last year.

Acott, denied the offence in October last year, after an investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
