A 45-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Margate.

The body of the woman, who is thought to have been in her 60s, was found at a flat in the town on Thursday.

A post mortem has been carried out but no identification details will be released until the woman’s next of kin have been informed.

Police officers from the county's major crime unit are assisting Thanet police in their investigations.
