A man accused of swinging a cat
by its tail has been remanded until April.

Riain Richards, 20, of Clements
Road, Ramsgate, appeared today before Canterbury Magistrates
accused of causing unnecessary suffering to a cat in Ramsgate in
October 2011.

The case relates to the CCTV
footage showing a cat being swung by its tail.

It was adjourned
until April 3.
