A man has appeared in court in connection with an alleged plot to kidnap and kill Kent soul star Joss Stone.

Kevin Liverpool, 34, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to commit GBH and conspiracy to commit robbery.

He is accused of carrying out the offences between January and June this year with 31 year old Junior Bradshaw.

Award-winning singer Joss was born and brought up in Dover.
