A 40-year old man is in a critical condition after being taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds.

Police were called to a flat at Century House, Rochester at 9pm on Sunday and later arrested a 40 year old man in connection with the incident.

He is currently being treated at the Medway Maritime Hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.
