A man who hid thousands of pounds stolen in the £53m Securitas robbery has been jailed today.

John Jeeves, 36, of Jenningtree Way, Belvedere, stored £103,650 under the

floorboards at an address in Greenwich, south east London.

It was claimed at the Old Bailey that some of the money, found in July 2008, was linked to Britain's biggest cash robbery - at the Securitas depot in Tonbridge two years earlier.

Jeeves was jailed for 15 months by Judge Jeffrey Pegden at the Old Bailey after admitting a charge of concealing criminal property - with £12,000 of it stored in Securitas cash bags.

Today's jailing comes months after cage fighter Lee Murray, 30, who fled to Morocco after the heist, was jailed for 10 years for the robbery.
