A 33-year-old pedestrian is being treated in hospital today after being seriously injured by a car.
Police are investigating appealing after the incident in Hereson Road, Ramsgate, on Saturday afternoon.
The man, from Ramsgate, was taken to the Royal London Hospital by Kent Air Ambulance.
He was described as being in a serious but stable condition today.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "The crash happened at 3.30pm when the man is understood to have stepped into the road from the footpath and was in collision with a grey Vauxhall Meriva.
"The driver, a 38-year-old woman from Broadstairs, and three passengers in the car were shocked but not injured."
