Man quizzed over teenager's road death

A man has been arrested in connection with a road crash in which a 16-year-old boy was killed.

The man, who is 33 and from the Rochester area, was arrested by Kent Police's serious crash investigation unit on Monday. He has been bailed pending further investigation.

Joshua Callaghan, from Canon Road, Bromley died from his injuries after being struck by a car as he walked along the pavement in the Overcliffe area of London Road, Gravesend at around 4pm on Saturday, January 24.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Kent Police serious crash investigation unit on 01622 798538.
